The Diversity Committee focuses on increasing the awareness of environmental concerns and the advantages that high performance, healthy buildings afford everyone in Georgia inclusive of persons across age, ethnic, color, socio-economic, and gender orientations. Working collaboratively with other local organizations emphasis is placed on community impact, green building and sustainability educational opportunities as well as providing accessibility to top level environmentalists.

One of the first projects of the Diversity Committee was a workshop for the Good Jobs Green Jobs Southeast Regional Conference on February 23 & 24th at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Atlanta.

The workshop took place at 8:30am on Friday, February 24th and was titled "The Green Jobs Express to Success".
