Central Georgia
Upcoming Central Georgia Events

The Central Georgia Branch of the USGBC-GA Chapter is a diverse group of people in the Macon and surrounding areas who are interested in learning more about green building and sustainable design. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend our meetings and training seminars. Our usual mix consists of architects, interior designers, students, contractors, professors, engineers, property owners and many other professions.
The Central Georgia Branch is an active member of both the Macon and Warner Robbins Chambers of Commerce.
We hold monthly Green Scene networking events on the third Monday of each month at the Blacksmith Shop on Poplar Street, downtown Macon. These events include complimentary food, a cash bar, networking and an educational session about sustainability in Central Georgia or around the state.
Branch Leadership Group (BLG):
The Central Georgia Branch follows the national organization's lead in working primarily through committees that form partnerships and strategic alliances with the other Chapter branches and regional organizations. Our Branch Leadership Group includes members who have shown leadership in the local community and the sustainable building industry.
