Advocacy

The Statewide Advocacy Committee exists to represent the Chapter on matters of State and local legislation that affects the green building industry and ultimately the USGBC-GA Chapter's mission. The committee provides a consistent and informed voice for pending legislation and communicates such matters to Chapter members through regular communications.

In addition, the Committee serves as an outreach arm to the green building and sustainability industries and endeavors to collaborate with other local & statewide organizations who seek to do the same.
