A new Charter Program of Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA, the International Knowledge and Research Center for Green Building (IKRC) is the virtual and physical destination for students, educators and professionals to learn about and apply sustainability concepts through research, teaching, curriculum development, and community outreach.
The mission of the IKRC is to empower students, faculty and professionals by researching, educating, training, demonstrating, displaying and disseminating creative, practical and sustainable solutions to world-wide green building, supply chain, and technology issues and problems through the interdisciplinary fusion of technology with the liberal arts and sciences.
